Fulton/Maple Lawn
Fulton / Maple Lawn: Color for a place that was planned with intention and lived in with pride
Fulton has a nice balance to it. Part of it still feels rooted in old Howard County. Part of it feels polished, walkable, and very now. That mix is a big reason I like working here. You have homes with presence, neighborhoods where people take pride in how things look, and streets where details actually matter. Our job is simple: make interiors feel fresher and more pulled together, and give exteriors the kind of finish that looks right for the house, the neighborhood, and the people living there.
A little history & what it feels like now
Maple Lawn did not come out of nowhere. Long before the sidewalks, restaurants, and polished front porches, this was Maple Lawn Farm, land tied to the Iager family, whose roots on the property go back to the 1800s. Public histories trace the farm to 1839, and the land stayed agricultural for generations before the development era ever showed up.
The version of Maple Lawn people know now started taking shape when Greenebaum & Rose began the planning process in 1996. From the start, the goal was not just to drop more houses onto open land. The idea was to build a traditional neighborhood development, something more walkable, more connected, and more like an old small town than a typical subdivision. Homes, shops, offices, sidewalks, and open space were all meant to work together instead of feeling scattered.
That is a big part of why Maple Lawn feels different now. It has a real Main Street feel, real walkability, and a level of polish that people notice right away. Howard County tourism materials talk about its award-winning architecture, walkability, and mix of boutiques and restaurants, and that honestly tracks with the way the place feels. People live here because it feels convenient, sharp, and a little more intentional than the average neighborhood.
Bottom line: Fulton still gives you that Southern Howard County breathing room, while Maple Lawn adds a more tailored, design-conscious layer to it. The homes are substantial. The standards are high. People notice details here. We paint accordingly.
fresh again. Curb appeal matters here. So does livability.
Homes & architecture (and how we treat them)
• Estate homes, single-family homes, townhomes, and condos built as part of a more design-forward mixed-use community
• Homes by builders, including Bozzuto Homes, Mitchell & Best, NV Homes, Williamsburg Homes, and Michael Harris Homes
• Maple Lawn homes with front porches, tighter streetscapes, cleaner lines, and finishes that need to look good up close, not just from the curb
• Townhomes and condos where consistency, clean trim lines, and durable finishes matter
• Larger single-family homes with formal spaces, open plans, and detailed millwork that need a careful hand
• Nearby Fulton, Highland, homes where you still get more lot, more exposure, and more need for thoughtful exterior product choices
Interior Painting in Fulton, MD
Fulton and Maple Lawn interiors usually call for a little more polish. Some homes need a straightforward refresh. Others need sharper color choices, better wall repair, tighter trim work, and a full reset on walls, doors, ceilings, and common spaces. We handle the prep work that makes the finish matter, protect the home properly, and keep the process organized so the job feels smooth instead of chaotic. The goal is not just fresh paint. It is a home that feels cleaner, brighter, and more put together when the work is done.
Exterior Painting in Fulton, MD
Exterior painting here is about more than picking a nice color and hoping for the best. Sun, moisture, pollen, and everyday exposure all affect how a finish holds up over time. In Maple Lawn, there is also the added reality that homes sit in a more cohesive visual setting, so the overall look needs to make sense. We pay attention to prep, caulking, priming, and product choice so the finish looks sharp now and still holds up later. That goes for siding, trim, shutters, doors, porches, and the smaller details that make the whole house feel cared for.
